It seemed like there was always a little angel on one shoulder, and a little devil on the other, competing for control of Jen and Jen knew it. At times she seemed to be okay with herself and accepted her body as is. Then she'd change her mind and work really hard, only to find herself nearly back to square one. She was motivated more by her need for the money the book would earn than in actually changing herself. But then she'd work really hard with the trainer and seemed to enjoy the results. Anyway, she was always at war with herself which made me wonder if that was the root of her crazy relationships with everyone else.

I guess I was interested in this because it seems like I have a little angel on one shoulder and a little devil on the other, too. Eat the chocolate, don't eat the chocolate. Be lazy and sit on the couch, get off your butt and exercise. You get the idea. So now I wonder if I'm as wacky as Jen. Brittany, you don't need to comment. Being a PT is like being a counselor sometimes, and you need to have a really compatible relationship in order to get results. I was happy that Jen stuck it out with her trainer past that first "scene" where she completely misjudged Barbie based on her looks.Roxyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14055311069146718033noreply@blogger.com
