The Wish List- Discussion #2

Lots of nice feedback with our first discussion question!
Seems like there was a positive reaction from most of you
who responded.
WHEW.
LOL
{since I'm not the author I wouldn't be entirely crushed...
but it is more fun if at least somebody enjoys the book!}

My next question(s) for you are:

Did you think the storyline was predictable, or did it have you guessing what would happen next?
Which events or parts of the story did you like the best/least?

I did not actually think the story was predictable. I really enjoyed that! I think this is such a whimsical and fun world that she created and I was so wrapped up in it that I didn't even think ahead to what was coming next because I was really caught in the moment.

I really really really love the characters! I enjoy Kristin and her fun personality. I'm in love with Tennyson and his bookish slightly anti-social ways. I don't really know what it is about him but I really really like him. I'm a little disappointed that there isn't another book about these two.

I was really annoyed at how long it took them to understand who the bad guy was. I mean DUH people! But that was about it. I think he's a well written bad guy and I like his smooth demeanor.

I didn't think the storyline was predictable at all! I didn't even guess who the bad guy was until Kristen did, lol!
Anything with Callie in it was my favorite event! She's a little tinkerbelle, who could NOT love that? It took me a long time to warm up to Kristen and Tennyson...I couldn't get invested in their relationship (or lack thereof) during the first half of the book. I hated that he was referred to as "troll" because it kind of turned me off and I wasn't "attracted" to his character, kwim? I just saw him as some ugly troll-y guy, lol...once they got over themselves though, I totally loved them:) Okay so that didn't answer ANY of your questions, but I've been wanting to get that out, heeheee... OMG, and Zack and Lil Spud were my FAVORITE characters in the book!!!!!!!

I totally didn't think the story line was predictable. Once I got started I just read the whole thing through. I'm a crazy book reader here lately.

I loved when Kristin found a new friend in sprite Callie. Who wouldn't love that. She needed someone to show her the ropes. Since the Aunts didn't have time..

My favorite character was Zach also. Who wouldn't totally Love him.

I thought it was a little predictable...either that or Im a really good guess heheh. I had a icky feeling about Lucas from the first moment he introduced himself. Then when the lightening struck her house I knew it must be him.
I still really enjoyed the book and characters.

I'm with Kristy. As soon as I met Lucas, I knew he was the bad guy. It also seemed well staged for Kristin to be the heroine in distress and for Tennyson to be her rescuer. Even though I had the big picture figured out, I still enjoyed reading it to get the nitty gritty details!

I have to say that the three "aunts" were my favorite characters. They were totally delightful. Maybe that's because I have a grandma brain now LOL and forget to do stuff all of the time (like how they forgot to leave the instructions) yet somehow I seem to muddle through. I enjoyed every scene they were in!

I did kind of see the whole picture early on, but that didn't detract from the story or getting there. I loved it!
