Was there anything you hated?
Did anyone figure out all of the goodbye tweets and which shows they were all from?

The Twist for Goodnight Tweetheart- Discussion...

Did you see Mark's illness coming?

Would you have ever guessed that he was only 6 blocks away from Abby the entire time?

What did you think about the twist in the story?

Would it have been as strong of a story if he really had been traveling the world like he Tweeted?

What are your thoughts?

Goodnight Tweetheart discussion continued...

Today, I am cheating and taking a question from the book...

Would you have been able to forgive Mark for his deception? Do you feel like Abby's response was appropriate? Would you have gone harder on Mark or easier on him if faced with a similar circumstance?

Goodnight Tweetheart- Let the discussion begin...

Hi everyone!
Hopefully, everyone has finished our book, Goodnight Tweetheart by Teresa Medeiros, at this point because from here on out....spoilers are okay!

First, let's discuss online relationships.

Obviously, we are an online book club so none of us have issues with creating online relationships/friendships.
But love is a different creature...
Do you think it's possible to find your true love online?

Are you on Twitter?
140 characters or less is about 2-3 sentences.
Is it possible to really get to know someone within those small snippets?

Or is this all just part of the fantasy that comes along with a good romance novel?
Is it realistic to believe in the fate that you could find your true love in 140 character snippets?

What are your thoughts???

Anthologies...Love or Hate??

heya, girlies! This is our last general discussion question before we start talking Goodnight Tweetheart. I plan on putting up our first discussion question on Sunday so READ IT BEFORE THEN! Our discussions  WILL have SPOILERS and we don't want to ruin the book for anyone! ;o)

So for today's discussion, let's talk anthologies...
Do you read them?
Do you enjoy them?
Does it take a certain author in an anthology before you will pick it up?

Do you break your spines??

Someone (I think that it was Amber) mentioned in the last post discussion about how much they love used books because they feel loved, and that got me to thinking...

Do you like to have your spines broken on your paperbacks or do you like yours in pristine condition??

Sunday Check-in!! Bookstores...

Hey everyone!! Is everyone gearing up for our discussion of Goodnight Tweetheart by Teresa Medeiros?? We will start discussing (and those discussions WILL include spoilers) in about another week so move this one up in your TBR pile if you haven't read it yet!

For today's discussion, we are going to talk book stores (i.e. Nirvana in my world!) What is your ideal bookstore? Do you have a local bookstore that you can peruse? Do you ever travel to really good bookstores? Do you like used bookstores? Is a coffee bar essential to a really good book store???

Do you have a favorite online bookstore?

March Book - Kiss of Midnight

Hey everybody! I just wanted to post quickly and let you all know what the March book is, so you can get it in advance if you're looking for something to read!

#1 in the Midnight Breed Series

Editorial Review:

He watches her from across the crowded dance club, a sensual black-haired stranger who stirs Gabrielle Maxwell’s deepest fantasies. But nothing about this night—or this man—is what it seems. For when Gabrielle witnesses a murder outside the club, reality shifts into something dark and deadly. In that shattering instant she is thrust into a realm she never knew existed—a realm where vampires stalk the shadows and a blood war is set to ignite.

Lucan Thorne despises the violence carried out by his lawless brethren. A vampire himself, Lucan is a Breed warrior, sworn to protect his kind—and the unwitting humans existing alongside them—from the mounting threat of the Rogues. Lucan cannot risk binding himself to a mortal woman, but when Gabrielle is targeted by his enemies, he has no choice but to bring her into the dark underworld he commands.

Here, in the arms of the Breed’s formidable leader, Gabrielle will confront an extraordinary destiny of danger, seduction, and the darkest pleasures of all. . . .

I've read alot of reviews on this book and it sounds like it has a lot of parallels to the Black Dagger Brotherhood books. I know MOST of us really love those books! The reviews I've seen say that though this series has ALOT of similarities, it's different enough and the writing is good enough for this series to stand on it's own. I hope everyone likes this one! If it's anything like BDB, there is alot of sex scenes, so if you find that kind of thing offensive, be warned...LOL! This is the first in a series of eight books, the ninth book in the series will come out in June!

Favorite Season for Reading?

For most of us in the US, it is a snowy cold day and that got me to thinking....
What is your favorite season for reading?

Are you a snuggle up by the fire and read gal?
Or do you like to lay yourself on the beach while you read and listen to the surf come in?
Do you like to sit down at your favorite coffee shop porch when the leaves are changing with a good book?
Or do you like to head out with a picnic blanket to the park with your book in the spring?

What is your favorite weather/season for reading???
