So, I hope you all have read, If I Were You by Lisa Renee Jones. So good right?!
I could not put this book down, I am obsessed and cannot wait for the next one.
But first, let's get to some nitty gritty questions
1. What do you think happened to Rebecca?
2. If you found a journal, would you read it?
3. Who do you think the man is, in her journals?
4. Sara, has an art degree, but is a teacher. Grew up with money (her dad only drove Porche 911), but has never traveled. What is her story?
5. Why would Sara get hired on the spot?
6. Who is the creepy dude, that is always at the storage facility?
7. Do you find that there are a lot of similarities between Sara and Rebecca? Do you think there is some kind of relation? Coincidences rarely happen in books.
8. Do you think Chris and Mark were friends before? What do you think happened?

I think she may have been kidnapped by Chris, maybe he is wanting to keep her safe.

Probably, I mean, I'd have to to find out who the journals belong to. Being a good citizen and all :-)

I think it might be the artist she is going to meet for a private showing

Haven't thought much about this one, maybe she is turned off by all the money or her Dad is involved in some shady business

She fit the type that Mark was looking for

Could it be the person in the journals?
7. Do you find that there are a lot of similarities between Sara and Rebecca? Do you think there is some kind of relation? Coincidences rarely happen in books.
I'm thinking that Sara is reading her own journals and flashing back on the stories in some way.
8. Do you think Chris and Mark were friends before? What do you think happened?
I think maybe they were friends before and there may be a story about the two of them vying for the same lady.
Boy these are definitely some though provoking questions and I'm sure that I'll have different answers after I think about it a little more.
Overall I loved this book and can't wait to find out more of the story in the 2nd book.
1. I think Chris has her hidden somewhere, safe. That or she is hiding on her own.
2. Of course I would! Unless it was someone's current journal. Then I would leave it alone.
3. I'm not sure. That one has me thinking. I need to read the journal entries to figure it out.
4. Either she was very involved as a kid or her dad was super overprotective. I think its more of the latter.
5. I suspect it was because Mark wanted to keep an eye on her.
6. I don't know! Someone hired by the man in the journals?
7. Yes and no. I wasn't sure in the beginning, but as the story unfolded I think there are more and more similarities between them.
8. Yes, I think they were very close friends. I can not wait for the 2nd book to unfold more of the story.

I had fun reading this one and I'm interested to see all those loose threads resolved in the next book.
Right now, I'm thinking the man from her journals is this Rico artist from the gallery that she's starting to talk to. I think that Rebecca just decided to "cut bait and run". I think that the guy at the storage facility is hired by Rico and I think she knew that and that is why she left all of her things. The guy was supposed to look out for her to come back, but now they have tied Rebecca's unit to Sara and they know that Sara works at the gallery it's about to get ugly for her.
I'm so optimistic, right? :D
I think Chris and Mark were great friends before and something happened to distance them. I'm thinking it has something to do with wine since Chris is somehow so against it.
1. I really have no idea, it's sort of driving me crazy. I go from thinking she's dead to thinking she's hiding from someone to thinking she did run off with a lover...?
2. Yes I would read it....unless it was someone's I knew then I wouldn't read it.
3. Not sure yet maybe Mark?
4. For some reason she doesn't want to be like or end up like her dad, not sure why, yet.
5. Mark thought she was hot/pretty/sassy and liked here.
6. I don't know but he scares me!
7. As the story went on I think there were more similarities.
8. I do think they used to be friends. Maybe something happened when they were kids? their families are both wealthy so maybe they knew each other as kids/teens and something happened.
