Well, towards the end it got much better. I know the relationship was just developing in the early part of the book, but I honestly did not want to see them together for some reason. I think it had to do with her calling him a troll all the time. I seriously pictured him as some ugly troll-y dude and didn't feel a THING for him. Towards the middle when she finally accepted who she was and who he was, it got much better, and more interesting!
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a cozy mystery/romance, I thought it had really funny moments and some very lovable characters! I really did enjoy this book, but I'm giving it a 3 out of a 5 rating, just because it took so freaking long for me to get into it, lol! In all honesty, and to give the author a break, I did just finish reading book 1 of Demonica (by Larissa Ione) right before starting this book, and that book had me so engrossed that I thought about it for days afterwords. I think I was still craving more of that style book, lol! So it's no fault of the authors if I didn't enjoy The Wish List as much as you guys, haha!

I liked their relationship. I didn't mind their beginning annoyance with each other though it was slightly juvenile but some relationships start like that. Mine did, but I was 16 so there's a reason for that. I wish there was more romance in the book but I always do. I know, I'm horrible!

I would recommend this book to others.

I am going to keep reading this series. I also think that Zack and Callie need a book of their own.

I give this book 4/5 stars. :)

Thanks for hosting this month, Brookie!

When Kristen first referred to Tennyson as a troll and as he was described by the author, I formed a mental picture of him as Hagrid from Harry Potter! I couldn't get that image out of my mind, LOL! I'm still not sure how I feel about their romance, but apparently it worked for them. :) I guess I wanted more depth to it. I really wanted more of Callie!

Having said that, I did enjoy the book. Wouldn't say I LOVED it, but It was a quick, fun read. I'm with Amber on this one: I give it a 3.

Does the next book have the same characters? If so, I would read it.

Thanks for hosting, Brooke!

Girls.. I completely agree with the TROLL thing... I didn't envision a hunky stud that she should fall head over heels for! Their relationship did grow on me throughout the book, but like Ashley... I would have liked to see it develop more. It was not really enough in my opinion. I also felt that it wasn't a very 'deep' read, but it was a fun little book for a quick summer read. I rated it 4/5 on Goodreads when I first finished... I would say compared to other books I've read lately, it should be more like 3/5... Cute, but didn't have me staying up all hours of the night to finish it.

The troll thing didn't bother me, I kind of liked the banter back and forth. I will read the second book, and I would like to hear more about Zack and Callie too. I'd probably give it a 4/5 if for nothing else than the original story line in a genre that can be hard to come by. :)

I didn't mind the troll thing.I wished there relationship would have had a bit more to it. It wasn't very steamy. But over all I like it.

I would recommend it to someone else.

I'll give it a 4/5 too. I've already read the 2nd book and am waiting for the next one. Maybe the author could continue with a 4th book with Zach and Callie.

Thanks Brooke for hosting!
